• Execute effective marketing initiatives to build awareness and generate leads for RioCan Living’s residential and mixed-use developments; • Develop communications plans for RioCan Living projects, tailoring the plans based on the project’s needs and scope; • Manage third-party creative agencies in the development of marketing collateral and execution of campaigns and events. This includes creating briefing documents and presentations, proofreading and obtaining internal approvals; • Oversee changes to marketing floor plans; • Provide day-to-day management of advertising campaigns focusing on all aspects of marketing residential communities; both rental and condo; • Manage media buys and traffic for online, print and out of home advertising including proof reading and obtaining approvals; • Oversee ongoing updates to RioCan Living and RioCan corporate websites; • Manage the marketing setup of new condo and rental offices from design to installation; • Assist with market research, competitive shopping and producing reports; • Attend weekly marketing meetings for all RioCan Living developments; • Manage multiple marketing budgets and oversee processing of invoices and estimates for third parties, and PO generation for third party suppliers; • Manage sales and purchaser related events from pre-sales to the completion of the building (including sales events, ground breaking event, purchaser events etc.); • Oversee award submissions inclusive of BILD, OHBA, CHBA etc; • Develop and foster working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; • Oversee one direct report, including conducting performance reviews and managing their professional development; • Travel required within the GTA (visiting sales offices, sites and competitors), with occasional travel within Canada; • During launch periods, hours may fall outside of regular business hours, and schedule flexibility is required, including being available on evenings and weekends; • Other duties / projects as required.
• Degree in Business, Advertising or related area • Minimum 5 years of experience in a marketing role or with an advertising firm working on accounts • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Excellent multi-tasking skills • Proven organizational skills and ability to meet competing deadlines • Excellent critical thinking skills • Proven oral/written communication skills • Able to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with proven Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook abilities • Familiarity with Adobe Publisher or Photoshop, as well as WordPress or other web content management systems • Familiarity with Google advertising and social media advertising platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
