Description
• Support the Project team on legal and contractual matters • Draft, negotiate, and review subcontracts • Advise on Project Agreement and contractual obligations • Manage subcontractor litigation and dispute resolution • Ensure compliance with insurance requirements • Support property and permit matters • Advise contract management team on administration of contracts • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda
Requirements
• 3-6 years of experience in construction litigation or construction counsel roles • Experience on P3 and other large complex construction projects is a significant asset • Experience with dispute resolution is an asset • Experience in drafting and negotiating construction contracts is an asset • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Intellectual curiosity and great commercial judgment • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders • Strong inter-personal skills, including resiliency
