• Drive overall revenue growth through retention and acquisition of retainer and commission-based clients that have been identified to drive immediate and long-term profit (2-5 years). • Lead and develop comprehensive sponsorship sales strategies tailored to meet the specific objectives and target audience of each client. • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and effectively communicating sponsorship opportunities and benefits. • Manage and mentor a team of sponsorship sales professionals, providing guidance, setting goals, and ensuring targets are met or exceeded. • Lead or support negotiations and finalize sponsorship agreements and contracts on behalf of clients, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with their interests. • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential sponsors suitable for clients’ sponsorship needs. • Oversee the implementation and execution of sponsorship activations, ensuring delivery meets client expectations and contractual obligations. • Manage department and project budgets and ensure profitability by effectively forecasting, tracking expenses, and optimizing resource allocation. • Ensure effective sales collaboration with the internal team and active participation in leadership team activities to align cross-departmental efforts and enhance overall strategy execution.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in sponsorship sales, preferably within an agency environment, with a demonstrated track record of successfully driving revenue and managing client relationships. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred. • Strong oral and written communication skills • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and conferences. • Fluency in English required.
