• In collaboration with the Head of NA Sales, define regional sales growth strategy • Manage sales forecasts accurately, set budgets and goals for sales team • Implement/lead/oversee client events, social engagements, and sponsorships • Represent the Spotify Brand at client/agency summits • Hire, manage, mentor & develop a Director of Sales within the region • Build upon established relationships and develop new relationships with key industry executives • Analyze, validate and update sales performance and critical metrics • Develop standard methodologies and demonstrate efficiencies • Maintain high levels of communication and transparency
• 12+ years of digital advertising / marketing sales experience including 8+ years in sales leadership which also includes 5+ years of larger staff management • Outstanding go-to-market strategy and operational discipline • Highly motivated, organized and entrepreneurial • Recognize the value in working as a team • Upbeat and willing to thrive in a high growth organization • Strong region-based agency & brand relationships • Great communication, consultative selling, problem solving and negotiating skills • Strategically use data and insights to inform client investment strategy • Effectively position Spotify’s ad solutions through creative storytelling • Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and trends • Strong understanding and expertise in account planning, strategic planning, and media buying • Existing network of senior level contacts in media and marketing • Mastered the fundamentals of sales management and leadership • Leadership experience with successful management skills and lead by example
