Description

• Integral role in global accounts payable at Global Relay • Ensure day-to-day needs of AP department are met • Adhere to financial policies and procedures in payable cycles • Process invoices and verify compliance with policies • Reconcile vendor statements to accounts payable subledger • Process employee expenses in SAP Concur and petty cash • Conduct due diligence for new vendor accounts • Prepare weekly payment runs and ensure timely payments • Prepare and process payments via various methods • Assist in maintaining accounts payable subledger • Maintain daily Excel bank statements • Prepare monthly reconciliations and procedures • Reconcile credit card transactions • Prepare journal entries for expenses and accruals • Field queries from staff and vendors • Investigate and resolve queries from stakeholders • Participate in ad hoc projects • Perform administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2-4 years in accounting department or software/tech industry in subscription billing • Diploma or certification in business/accounting field is an asset • Intermediate MS Office skills • Impeccable accuracy with numbers • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities • Excellent telephone etiquette and business communication skills • Ability to handle confidential information • Exceptional organizational skills • Ability to work independently and in a team • Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems an asset
