• Commissionaires is a Canadian, not-for-profit security/enforcement organization. • Responsible for processing accounts payable and assisting payroll specialist. • Supports finance team in various payroll and accounts payable duties. • Hybrid work model from home and Vancouver office. • Focused on collaborative working style, driven by organization's values.
• Education: Accounting diploma or degree equivalent, preference for CPA candidate currently or planning to be enrolled in PEP program. • PCP would also be an asset. • Experience: 1-2 years of direct related job experience preferred, specifically in payroll. • Skills & Abilities: Excellent customer service skills, organization skills, time management and problem solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; role frequently deals with remote employees via phone and email. • Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy; volume data entry is required. • Proven ability to multi-task and manage ongoing tight deadlines. • A team player with a positive can-do attitude. • Professional / Technical Knowledge (Minimum Required): Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to learn in-house programs (Sage Intact, Criterion HRIS, Tracktik). • Required Security Clearances: PWGSC Basic Reliability: must consent to a Criminal Background Check, as a clean criminal record is a requirement to obtain.
