• In support of our growing team, we’re hiring a Manager of People and Culture to join our small but mighty People and Culture (“P&C”) team. • In this role, you will play a pivotal part in aligning Maple’s HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring that our HR initiatives not only support but also drive business success. • As a strategic HR partner, you will work closely with business unit leaders to embed HR practices into our overall business strategy. • This position is a unique blend of HR business partnering and operational leadership. • Your goal will be to ensure these processes are efficient and compliant and contribute to an exceptional employee experience. • You will mentor and inspire a high-performing HR team that meets Maple’s evolving needs.
• 5+ years of HR and/or People Operations experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage HR functions effectively. • 3+ years of experience leading a high-performing team, with proven leadership skills that engage and retain top talent. • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced HR certification (e.g., CHRP) is preferred. • Experience in a start-up and/or SaaS environment is an asset, offering familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities in these sectors. • Exceptional organizational, execution, change management, presentation, and communication skills, with a strong ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines. • Highly detail-oriented, with a deep sense of accountability in managing HR processes and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. • Passion for a human-centered approach in HR practices, with strong relationship-building skills at all levels of the organization. • Deep understanding of HR practices, including employee relations, employee engagement, and HR operations. • Ability to navigate complex employee relations issues and provide sound guidance in accordance with the Employment Standards Act (ESA). • Strong proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis, with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.
