Description
• Managing accounts payable in QuickBooks for multiple business entities • Maintaining accounts payable aging report to ensure timely payments to vendors • Coordinating and proposing weekly vendor payments • Assisting in establishing, upholding, and reviewing financial controls • Complying with administering payments and reports for taxes
Requirements
• Undergraduate degree in Business/Finance/Accounting from University/College • Working towards an accounting designation (CPA) considered an asset • 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial management • Knowledge of QuickBooks Online considered an asset • Firm understanding of various payment methods (Wire payments, ACH/EFT, other third-party services such as PayPal) • Technical competence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) • Highly motivated and detail oriented • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing • Experience working with media and/or technology infrastructure companies a bonus • A proven record of contributions made to process improvements
