Description

• Responsible for driving supply chain operational excellence within raw materials vendor base • Collaborate with Raw Materials Supply Planning team to build a resilient Tier 2 supply chain • Ensure suppliers meet expectations in key indicators like cost, quality, capability, delivery • Develop next Supply Chain superstars while modeling leadership • Manage execution of seasonal raw materials sourcing strategy • Drive strategic projects with raw materials and supply chain teams • Build team culture fostering urgency, efficiency, curiosity • Drive sustainability efforts in circularity and preferred material workstreams • Develop key RM supplier relationships for T2 sourcing strategy • Evolve and optimize RM Sourcing org dates, KPIs, processes, deliverables • Proactively identify, analyze, mitigate supply risks • Develop documentation for RM Sourcing operations, processes, KPIs • Support long-term forecast commitments and measure purchase activity • Develop cost negotiation strategy with cross functional teams • Keep Arc’teryx at cutting edge of material manufacturing technologies • Uphold Fair Labor Association’s principles throughout supply chain • Work with Global Sourcing Vendor Sustainability team on reviews and training • Adhere to negotiated lead times and capacities for responsible purchasing

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in the apparel industry with a focus on sourcing, operations, planning, purchasing, or manufacturing • A degree in Supply Chain Management or related business fields is a plus • Foreign language skills are a plus • Excellent communication skills, ability to relate to all levels of stakeholders • Strong leadership, interpersonal, facilitation, and project management experience • Strategic thinking and ability to balance the needs of multiple cross functional teams • Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PLM systems • Numbers and data driven with an analytical approach to decision making • Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration • Inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement • Seek the best solutions with commitment to do what is right • Know when to voice and take a stand on important ethical and sustainability issues • Passion for work and outdoor activities
