Description

• Ensure the reliable operation of IT systems including servers, networking hardware, operating systems, software applications, and telecommunication links. • Provide advanced technical support for both hardware and software issues that arise. • Implement and manage security solutions to protect against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction. • Manage backup procedures and disaster recovery operations to ensure data preservation. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. • Work closely with IT team members, participating in planning and executing IT projects. • Liaise with vendors for the procurement of new technology solutions, manage service agreements, and ensure external support meets the organization's needs.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. • At least 7 years of experience in IT systems administration, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge and hands-on expertise in managing IT infrastructure. • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals, or similar are highly regarded. • Solid understanding of network infrastructure, operating systems, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud services (AWS, Azure). • Ability to quickly analyze and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining business continuity. • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of effectively articulating technical guidance and instructions to users of varying technical understanding. • Demonstrated ability to anticipate potential issues or bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions.
