Description
• Oversee Event Staff performing various roles throughout the course of events, including assigning tasks, coordinating breaks, and providing coaching/feedback when necessary • Provide an exceptional level of customer service to our clients and patrons • Lead the Events Staff team towards the successful execution of each event • Maintain clear communication with other members of the HEC team (bar, box office, technicians, kitchen, etc.) to ensure events run smoothly from start to finish • Ensure the successful execution of catered events, including maintaining food service protocols • Complete event reports with each shift, including sales reconciliation as required • Maintain the safety and cleanliness of event sites • Perform other job-related duties as required
Requirements
• Familiarity with front of house or hospitality operations is required • Experience with leading a team and general staff supervision is required • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, including problem solving and thinking on your feet • Available to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends • Excellent work habits, including strong attention to detail and communication skills • ProServe and ProTect training - will be provided free of charge • Valid First Aid certification (CPR AED Level C or greater) • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License • Ability to lift 10kg (22lbs) on occasion
