• Provide comprehensive computer support services for our Ottawa labs • Manage service desk for quick user issue resolution • Collaborate with IT teams to solve complex technical issues • Evaluate and recommend hardware/software solutions to enhance lab efficiency
• Degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • 3+ years of experience with legacy as well as modern computers and operating systems (Windows XP, 7, 10, 11, Linux) • 3+ years of experience providing Level 2 and/or Level 3 IT Support • Familiarity with JIRA, advanced interfaces and systems including PLCs, interfacing with custom hardware, standard and non-standard communication (WiFi, LoRa), microcontrollers (Arduino) and cloud computing infrastructure (AWS) are assets • Experience with cloning/imaging software and different operating systems • Knowledge of Mobile Device Management tools • Experience with Active Directory or Entra AD
