Description
• Direct and supervise virtual asynchronous clinical project teams • Ensure effective and efficient operation of clinical programs to the highest levels of quality and client satisfaction • Coordinate project operations and related activities across all areas of clinical research • Identify and select personnel according to specific research needs • Provide expert direction, training, feedback and leadership to clinical project teams • Ensure clinical research programs are designed, developed and conducted in adherence to relevant regulatory guidelines and company policies • Establish operational norms and provide mentorship • Engage and support other departmental Leads in research design and operation • Work closely with current and potential clients to identify needs and opportunities for new or expanded projects
Requirements
• Advanced degree in life sciences from an accredited university with five years relevant experience in industry and/or academia • Understanding of advanced therapeutics and rare diseases • Extensive clinical research contacts • Detailed knowledge and experience of real-world research and clinical trials design • Comprehensive understanding of ICH/GCP/FDA/EMA/HC or other international regulations • Demonstrated personal skills of goal orientation, problem identification, self-organization, motivation, effectiveness, flexibility, team leadership, operations management, professional integrity and confidentiality • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English essential, other languages an asset) • Strong presentation skills • Continuous interaction with clients and investigators including on-site visits and presentations as required to support and expand business opportunities
