• Prospecting, developing, and building new business relationships for PSI within your assigned geographic territory • Responsible for establishing customer sales and marketing plans • Responsible for developing a semi-annual marketing plan for their territory to ensure strategic overall growth • Maintains contact with all customer accounts in designated area to ensure company sales targets, collection targets and customer satisfaction goals are constantly met • Prospects through cold call visits, telephone, and correspondence to determine the needs for products and services with new customers • Generates new sales leads and promotes the company’s products to customers by establishing and maintaining excellent customer rapport and customer confidence • Meet and exceeds sales quotas by closing new business and expanding with existing clients • Gathers strategic market information on competition and recognize new business opportunities for the company • Interacts and coordinates effectively with all other company departments • Actively participates in and attends sales meetings outside of regular business hours, as required • Provide design and troubleshooting services to your customer base as well as assist others on the sales team • Constantly keep up with technology and brands in the industry • Update and maintain our CRM contact information within P21 • Provides backup when required to the inside sales team • Assist with company training including taking inside sales team and others to customer sites to gather field knowledge
• Technical training or degree in Fluid Power is preferred; OR any suitable combination of education, training and work experience • Fluid Power certification is preferred • 2+ years industrial or technical sales experience with at least 2 years in fluid power sales preferred • Application and troubleshooting experience with fluid power products and systems • Ability to establish and maintain business relationships • Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills • Computer proficiency is required • Must have a valid driver's license • Overnight travel may be required
