• Support the HR initiatives and continuous growth of a fast-paced SaaS company • Provide support to the daily operations of the HR team • Hands-on involvement with many aspects of HR including benefits, immigration, recruitment, reporting, performance management, management training, and special projects • Recognize people as a company’s most valuable asset • Understand the importance of balancing HR and business • Provide day-to-day HR support to the Global Relay team • Work closely with the HR Leads and HR Manager to develop, implement, and deliver HR programs
• 7+ years of experience in progressive HR positions; previous work experience in the high tech or software technology industry is an asset • Completion of post-secondary studies in Human Resources • True HR Generalist with solid hands-on experience in various aspects of HR • Strong communicator with good business acumen • Knowledge in employment regulations including Employment Standards Act and Human Rights Act • Thorough knowledge of HR standards and best practices • Experience with HR Systems (Human Resources Information System, Applicant Tracking System, Performance Appraisal System) • Familiarity with BambooHR, Greenhouse, and/or Trakstar is an asset • Proficiency with MS Office Suite • Proven ability to build trust with all levels of employees within the organization • Proven record of responsibility and judgment including exercise of discretion and confidentiality • Keen attention to detail with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task • Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and within a team • Flexibility and demonstrated ability to take initiatives; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
