•We’re looking for a Supervisor, Operations - Estates to join our Operations team. •Responsible for the supervision of the estate settlement process across all lines of business. •Provides guidance, training, and assistance to administrators/senior administrators in problem solving. •Responsible for providing first level oversight and approvals of daily tasks.
•Post-secondary education and continuing education relating to the Investment Industry, specifically operations functions •In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, the successful completion of the IFIC and/or the CSC is an asset •3 years of experience in the Estates area •3 – 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the investment industry, including past supervisory experience for a minimum of 1 – 2 years •Ability to function with autonomy and is well versed in working closely with Legal, Compliance, Trustee and Client Complaints departments •Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset •Excellent interpersonal skills including delegation and mentoring of staff •Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with organizational, time management and administrative skills •Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and meet project deadlines. •Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, with the appropriate attention to detail •Superior customer service with the ability to quickly identify and resolve problems to the satisfaction of all parties •Highly motivated and results driven •Experience in existing systems (e.g. Dataphile) and system integration, along with incremental development
