Description
• Lead design and development of next-generation satellite user terminals. • Oversee modem architecture design and optimization. • Ensure seamless integration with other terminal components. • Develop advanced signal processing algorithms for modem functionality. • Conduct performance analysis and test reviews of modem designs. • Ensure compliance with industry standards. • Lead prototype development and testing to validate designs. • Collaborate with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams. • Produce detailed design documentation. • Stay updated on emerging technologies in satellite communications.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field. • Minimum of 6 years of experience in satellite communication systems, modem design, FPGA design, and signal processing. • Strong knowledge of digital communication systems, modulation techniques, error correction methods, and RF systems. • Experience making tradeoffs between performance and cost at the component and system level. • Experience bringing hardware and modem designs through the full lifecycle. • Proficiency with design and simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or similar. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
