Description
•Lead SCRUM teams through the entire Agile process including Sprint planning, Stand ups, Backlog grooming, story creation, story point assignment, demos, post-mortems, etc. •Coordinate the activities of a cross functional team which includes software developers, test engineering, tooling, DevOps and Product Owners. •Engage in technical relationships with vendors for collaboration, bug tracking, deliveries. •Contribute to SCRUM of SCRUMs to provide status updates and define dependencies. •Showcase and enhance team coach competencies to build a performing team and train in Scrum, Built-in-Quality, Kanban, SAFe. •Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives ensuring effectiveness and value. •Collaborate with the product owner to prioritize and manage the product backlog. •Assist in facilitating PI planning meetings and summarizing objectives. •Manage risks and drive improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops. •Assist the team in breaking down complex requirements into actionable tasks. •Utilize data analysis to identify bottlenecks and optimize efficiency. •Navigate team dynamics and facilitate problem solving. •Build a trusting environment for open discussions. •Assess Agile Maturity and coach for higher levels of maturity. •Promote software development best practices and continuous integration. •Encourage effective communication within team and stakeholders. •Remove impediments hindering team progress. •Continuously seek opportunities for learning and growth. •Deliver status updates to the program and other teams. •Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. •Minimum of 6 years of as a SCRUM master for software development with embedded software projects strongly desired. •Extensive understanding of Agile for software development. •Extensive understanding of Software Lifecycle Development models. •Solid understanding of software development, prior development experience is strongly desired. •Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive process improvements and predict delivery outcomes. •Ability to summarize complex problems, solutions and recommendations. •Ability to thoroughly document technical requirements in specifications. •Strong communication skills including presentation of technical material to groups. •Enthusiasm for leading highly productive software development teams.
