Description
• Prepare monthly board package/management accounts and other external reporting • Perform analysis in support of the month end close process • Provide information and support to department budget owners for the preparation of forecast planning revisions • Liaise with global office contacts for the maintenance and update of financial statement forecasting elements • In coordination with the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, ensure planning changes are captured in systems (Adaptive Planning) within established timelines • Perform variance analysis to ensure forecast completeness and accuracy • Participate in the design, development and improvements to planning systems in place and use of various assumptions based forecasting • Assist in the preparation of source files used in reporting results of finalized forecast updates • Perform maintenance, calculations and recording of monthly internally development capitalized costs • Perform weekly revenue forecasts
Requirements
• Post secondary degree or diploma in Business/Accounting • Previous experience in a similar role • Proficient in MS Office, including solid Excel skills • Experience using NetSuite an asset • Experience using Workday Adaptive Planning software an asset • Ability to work with and summarize large data sets in Excel • Attention to detail in all areas of work and high degree of accuracy • Ability to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills • Professional written and verbal communication skills • Strong problem-solving skills
