• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, cultivating a culture of excellence and ongoing improvement. • Design and execute a comprehensive automation testing strategy that aligns with the studio's objectives. • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to define testing priorities and deliver high-quality releases. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test scripts for our MMO games. • Identify opportunities to automate the testing process, minimizing manual efforts while expanding test coverage. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and continuous delivery. • Oversee the execution of automated tests, analyze results, and report on the quality of the product. • Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution. • Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to ensure the stability and scalability of our games. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that automation efforts are aligned with overall project timelines and objectives. • Provide clear and concise reports on testing activities, results, and quality metrics to stakeholders. • Advocate for best practices in automation and quality assurance across the studio.
• Proven 5+ years of experience as an Automation QA or similar role in a game studio • Strong background in automation testing, with experience in designing and implementing test frameworks • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Typescript, Java, or C#. • Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes in game development. • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and inspire others. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
