Description

• As a Technical Lead at Later, you will split your time between hands-on technical work and people management for a small team of developers. • Your primary focus will be technical planning, resource allocation, project delivery, and mentorship. • At this level, you’ll use your mastery of software development fundamentals to maintain and enhance our platform and to help your team members set and achieve their career growth objectives. • This role is a mix of hands on coding and people leadership. • You’ll deeply understand your product area(s) and the problems your team faces and propose robust solutions. • The Analytics team is focused on social media analytics, brand campaign reports, and calculating ROI, ensuring customers get the insights they need to measure their social media and campaign performance.

Requirements

• 5 + years of experience as a full-stack software developer building distributed applications hosted by AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure. • 2 + years of experience as a senior software developer proposing, implementing, and delivering projects you designed. • 1 + years experience leading a team of 3 or more developers. • You’re proficient using TypeScript to develop frontend and backend applications. We strongly prefer experience using React, Express.js, Node.js, and NestJS. We also prefer some but don’t require any experience using Java, Kotlin, or Ruby on Rails to develop backend apps. • You’re proficient using SQL to access and store data. We prefer experience using NoSQL databases too, though we only require knowledge of their differences and the ability to articulate them in a technical design. • Experience building large data models and consuming data into Google Cloud BigQuery OR AWS Redshift. • You intuitively collaborate effectively. You’re accountable, adaptable, growth-oriented, and responsive even in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • You’re intrinsically motivated to continuously improve and feel fulfillment coaching others too.
