Description
• Lead and oversee multiple planning and delivery projects within the post-secondary education sector, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project requirements. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project objectives are met. • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices. • Advocate for and implement innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. • Partner with Business Development executives to develop and implement strategic plans aimed at expanding the company's presence in the post-secondary education market. • Contribute to the preparation of proposals, bids, and presentations for new projects. • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; professional architectural or engineering license preferred. • PMP certification an asset. • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager overseeing complex design and construction projects, particularly in the post-secondary education industry. • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate design activities effectively. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada security clearance.
