Description

• Create and implement a comprehensive content strategy that grows awareness and organic demand for Float. Own the editorial calendar, execute the production of high-quality content, including blog posts, case studies, videos and social media posts. Manage SEO content production, working with freelance writers. Ensure consistency in brand messaging and tone across all content platforms. • Build Float’s awareness and reputation in the Canadian business community through earned media coverage of company announcements, and executive thought leadership pieces. Manage media inquiries and proactively pitch newsworthy stories. Collaborate on rapid-response and crisis communications with key stakeholders across multiple departments.

Requirements

• With 5-7 years of Content and PR experience, you are familiar with the Canadian media landscape and the types of customers we serve. Business or financial service experience is an advantage. • You have excellent communication skills and are able to craft compelling narratives and in a variety of formats and distribution channels. You have a constant finger on the pulse of current events and business trends and have a track record of turning broader news stories into media opportunities for your brand. • You set aggressive goals, and have a reputation for working tenaciously to smash them, not letting anything get in your way. You have demonstrated your ability to turn communications and content strategies into measurable results. • You have an ego
