Description
• Build fully resolved solutions in alignment with Veilance product design • Contribute to rapid prototyping and proof of concept development • Produce production level and resolved garments with supporting documentation • Collaborate with Designers, Pattern Makers and Product Developers on new concepts • Build prototypes to allow testing and validation • Support in the creation of field and wear test samples • Assist Sample and Design teams in problem-solving • Support onboarding and training of new hires
Requirements
• 3+ years’ experience working in a technical design environment • Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, or equivalent experience • Strong sewing, building, and pattern making skills • Technically proficient using CLO3D, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD experience within Gerber, or equivalent • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator, able to quickly pick up new applications • Proactive in identifying root causes of issues, seeking effective solutions • Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity • Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration • Inspires breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement, seeking integrated design solutions • Strong knowledge of Arc’teryx products and interest/experience in city wardrobe pieces
