• Provide program information to potential clients and referral sources; screen clients for eligibility • Greet and direct clients to ISTEM and EO program components • Follow-up on and track client progress throughout the program and post-completion; maintain relevant participant records • Enter and maintain data into agency-used systems; compile and verify data for reporting as required by management • Create and maintain client files, ensuring all documentation is collected and filed • Conduct client registration for workshops, including attendance monitoring and follow up • Prepare workshop materials and set up equipment for presentations • Assist with organizing events, outreach activities, etc. • Share reception duties and provide customer service to all clients, employers and visitors; evening coverage as needed • Support other programs and conduct data entry across the Newcomer and Employment Services divisions; assist staff with all administrative related duties • Provide clerical support, editing and formatting reports, word processing of correspondence, reports and other materials • Travel to itinerant locations
• High school diploma • 2 years of administrative experience • Customer service oriented • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Effective interpersonal skills; ability to assist a wide range of individuals with different cultural backgrounds and vocational barriers • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Effective organization and time management skills; ability to work well under pressure and prioritize competing deadlines • Computer literate; the ability to learn systems used by the agency (e.g. SalesForce, iCARE) • A clear Police Vulnerable Sector check is required for this position • Knowledge of Ukrainian or Spanish languages is an asset
