Description
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient back-end systems using PHP frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, or Zend) and Node.js. • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. • Migrate key models, helpers, and general business logic from Laravel to Node.js services in a compartmentalized, step-by-step fashion. • Design and implement data storage solutions, including databases and caching mechanisms. • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance. • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally within an Agile environment. • Write and maintain technical documentation for new and existing features.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Proven experience as a Back-End Developer with a strong portfolio of relevant projects. • Strong knowledge of PHP and experience with at least one PHP framework (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, Zend). • Proficiency in Node.js and frameworks available for it (e.g., Express, Fastify). • Extensive experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). • Proficiency working with ORMs (Eloquent, Sequelize, etc.). • Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation. • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
