Description
• Senior Investment Manager responsible for ensuring sustainable underwriting practices across the credit lifecycle of customers at Uncapped • Lead team of Investment Associates and Analysts to determine creditworthiness of businesses and work with work-out experts to devise solutions • Make significant inputs into lending policies and end-to-end processes to fund growing SMEs globally • Collaborate with Sales and Tech teams to improve and automate underwriting process • Reporting directly to Investment Director at Uncapped
Requirements
• 3-5 years of experience as a Commercial / SME Underwriting team lead or as an Investment Manager. • Hands-on experience in conducting financial due diligence on large ticket business investment/lending (£1m+) opportunities • Strong quantitative and financial modelling skills in building and maintaining complex financial models. • Great attention to detail, with a focus on continuous process improvement • Critical and first-principles thinking with a willingness to challenge the status-quo suggest new approaches to solving problems • An excellent team player who is comfortable collaborating with others to resolve issues and move forward. • Experience with work-out / collections a plus
