Description
• Managing all incoming and outgoing engineering documents including tracking, distribution and delivery in both paper and electronic version • Ensuring proper document classification, sorting, filing and proper archiving • Reviewing the project procedure and specifications including client requirements and project procedures • Processing engineering documentation, some of which include; in-house documents, and drawings for both engineering and sub-contractor documentation • Processing client comments and client reference documentation for each project
Requirements
• Technical diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum 3-5 years of previous experience in document control • Experience in ALIM system would be considered an asset • Familiarity with Records Information Management (RIM) concepts • Computer savvy; able to quickly learn new software • Proficiency with MS Office suite is required • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) • Ability to act in a confidential and sensitive manner • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information is critical • Must have a willingness to learn and self-improve • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
