Description

• Work on multiple projects to strengthen the ecosystem of products under the PENN brand. • Help drive user acquisition through SEO. • Support the development and maintenance of features for theScore’s media sites. • Experiment with new technologies that will decrease our build or CI times. • Participate in the design, architecture, and delivery of new features in a collaborative agile/scrum environment. • Improve feedback loops around accessibility, performance, visual regression and error monitoring. • Collaborate with the team to define and improve our internal style guide, maintainability and best practices for web applications.

Requirements

• A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, distributed systems, algorithms and software design. • Experience with frontend technologies (TypeScript, React, NextJS, GraphQL, Jest, e2e testing, build tools). • You pay attention to the details. • You think deeply about systems and can debug problems that span systems. • You’re a curious person who loves to dive deep into the internals of different libraries. • You love to keep updated with web technologies and share what you learn with teammates. • You’re a great communicator, both verbal and written.
