Description

• As part of the Casino Foundations team at theScore, you will be working with a group of talented and friendly individuals. • Our goal is to provide our users with the best experience when it comes to online Casino. • The Casino team deals with integrating with third party providers, supporting our client developers with everything they need to be able to view and launch games. • We take pride in delivering highly reliable and scalable solutions. We’re always looking for ways to not only improve our knowledge but also share knowledge throughout the company. • As a key member of our Casino Foundations team, you will: • Work with our preferred technology stack, primarily Elixir/Phoenix, LiveView. • Develop, scale, and optimize GraphQL & RESTful APIs. • Support web and mobile clients as part of our backend service teams. • Communicate with a community of engineers and third-party vendors. • Participate in the design, architecture, and delivery of new features in a collaborative agile/scrum environment. • Take part in other duties as required.

Requirements

• A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, distributed systems, algorithms, and software design. • A passion for clean code architecture and software craftsmanship. • Proficiency with modern web framework and API development (Phoenix). • Consuming and integrating with third party APIs. • Familiarity with Git and GitHub or similar. • A strong grasp of relational databases, including PostgreSQL. • An understanding of background job processing • Competency working in the terminal and with a code editor of your choice. • Experience with testing frameworks such as ExUnit, RSpec, Jest, pytest or equivalent. • Involvement with profiling tools.
