Description

• The Sportsbook Growth team is responsible for increasing revenue through personalization and social experiences. • We are data-informed which means we rely on metrics and analytics to drive decisions while balancing that with qualitative research. • Experimentation is at the heart of how we gather the data we need to optimize features and user flows. • We are cross-functional, working closely with product, marketing, and data science teams. • We operate across many services and because of that we are looking for folks who can build context quickly, help us create and maintain relationships with service owners, and above all else, we need engineers who are product-oriented.

Requirements

• Experience in software development, specializing in front-end technologies • Strong understanding of JavaScript, React and general UX Principles • A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, distributed systems, algorithms and software design. • Passionate about clean code architecture and software craftsmanship. • Experience with modern web framework and API development • Experience with Git and GitHub or similar. • Knowledge and experience with relational databases; including PostgreSQL and MySQL. • Comfortable working in the terminal. • Proficiency within an editor of your choice. • Experience with testing frameworks such as ExUnit, RSpec, Jest, pytest or equivalent. • Experience working with profiling tools. • Knowledge and familiarity with caching strategies and tools. • Consuming and integrating with third party APIs. • A passion for sports and/or gaming is considered an asset. • NICE TO HAVE: Experience with Elixir, building GraphQL APIs (Absinthe), GraphQL schema stitching & subscriptions, GCP, Kubernetes, JavaScript SSR, contribution to open source software, passion for sports and/or esports.
