Description
• Inspect the safety of the train prior to the start of each shift • Enforce safety procedures/policies to ensure safe operation • Read from a prepared script that describes the surrounding buildings, venues and attractions • Assist with loading and unloading of guests, particularly those in wheelchairs/scooters • Control the flow of people boarding and exiting the train • Answer basic questions from guests regarding programming, attractions, facilities and services • Direct guests to facilities/services as requested
Requirements
• Minimum Age Requirement: 16 years • Due to the customer service nature of the job, applicants must be able to speak fluent English • Ability to lift or push heavy items such as a Wheel Chair and ramp • Available to work all 18 days of the fair (August 16 - Sept. 2, 2024) (Days off will be scheduled with your supervisor) • Available to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends • Able to attend Mandatory Orientation Session and Job Specific Training • Note: Steel toed shoes required (not provided)
