Description

• Work across our back-end technology stack including Python, JavaScript, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and C#. • Configure necessary development tools and libraries, such as Entity Framework Core, HttpClient, and other relevant packages. • Build data integrations with third-party APIs and our core systems. • Implement batch processing techniques for data writes to the database to enhance performance. • Enhance logging and error handling mechanisms to ensure system stability. • Document the new backend system architecture and codebase for reference and knowledge sharing. • Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration of backend services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, preferably with expertise in Python and Node.js (JavaScript). • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases and experience with database management. • Minimum of 3 years' experience with AWS micro-services/products such as CDK, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFormation, CodePipeline. • Familiarity with front end frameworks, particularly React and AngularJS. • Familiarity with deployment tools and scripting languages. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team. • Experience with source control tools such as GIT and GitHub Actions. • Experience implementing and integrating with RESTful web services. • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, technical and otherwise.
