Description
• Lead and coordinate sales staff and cashiers, ensuring efficient and customer-friendly operations. • Assign tasks and create work schedules for sales workers, optimizing coverage for excellent service. • Authorize payments via cheque and manage merchandise returns following established policies. • Personally engage with customers, showcasing merchandise, and fostering positive interactions. • Resolve challenges such as customer complaints and supply shortages to uphold service quality. • Maintain inventory levels of thrift store items, proactively initiating merchandise orders. • Prepare insightful reports on sales volumes, merchandise displays, and staffing matters. • Contribute to the hiring process and provide training to new sales staff, aligning with our store's ethos.
Requirements
• High school diploma; Retail management experience preferred. • Exceptional supervisory and organizational skills. • Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office suite. • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. • Passion for thrift store culture and commitment to sustainable practices. • Excellent English and Communication skills. • Willingness to relocate. • Only open work permit holders are permitted. • Previous experience in clothing stores is a plus.
