• The Specialist, Digital Content is a key member of the digital team. • Contribute to the quality of content on OMA web properties. • Plan and publish digital content on OMA web properties. • Liaise with internal stakeholders and Advocacy, Communications & Marketing (ACM) team members. • Proofread and edit content to ensure consistency. • Publish content using a CMS following best practices. • Collaborate to create engaging, accurate digital content. • Lead projects to overhaul existing content on OMA properties. • Identify new opportunities to modernize OMA web properties. • Contribute to OMA digital projects as required. • Champion standards for OMA digital content.
• Undergraduate degree in English, journalism or equivalent • Six to nine years’ experience in digital/technology content design • Experience in web writing and editing to deliver high-quality experiences • Expertise in synthesizing complex information and communicating it clearly • Keen eye for detail, highly creative and familiar with CP style • Strong knowledge of and experience with current web trends and standards • Experience delivering digital products and services • Familiar with emerging trends in digital communications to advise on content design and strategy and lead the design and ongoing evolution of OMA web properties • Working knowledge of content management systems and digital content publishing • Knowledge of SEO • Exceptional customer service, relationship management abilities and political acuity
