• Develop and deliver on the eCommerce marketing strategy for SDM.ca, acquiring and retaining quality customers • Build, implement and refine paid digital marketing campaigns to hit aggressive sales targets • Lead the Partnerships strategy and testing plan with internal lines of businesses and external marketplace partners to attract new customers and drive sales • Lead the exploration of SEO and SEM opportunities and optimizations alongside the Media and technical teams to drive traffic and conversion • Lead Lifecycle Email Marketing programs to continuously nurture customers through to conversion • Leverage data and insights to guide campaign development and influence stakeholders • Forecast, monitor and report on campaign and customer database performance, interpret data to refine based on learnings • Develop and manage project work streams including follow-ups, reviews and approvals, purchase orders and budget reconciliation, weekly & monthly business reporting • Work cross-functionally with Email, Media, Merchandising, Strategy & Planning, Product, Technology and Design teams to strategize and execute on programs • Lead the management of the team Marketing budget and work with Finance and Marketing partners to accurately record and report on commitments
• University degree in Business, Marketing or Commerce • 7+ years’ experience in an eCommerce or retail digital marketing role • A strong understanding of paid media tactics such as Paid Social, Search Engine Marketing and Affiliate Marketing, while having solid experience in omni-channel marketing principles • Experience evaluating customer journeys and building lifecycle marketing programs • Proven experience driving customer acquisition and retention in a sales environment • Proven experience in managing direct and indirect reports • Experience in Campaign Management including marketing creative briefs and agency management • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to effectively work and communicate with multiple levels of the organization and deliver persuasive presentations, POV statements, strategic recommendations • Outstanding project management, time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage varying workloads
