Description
• Responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of risk modelling technology • Ensures models are technically sound and deliver necessary insights • Supports operations Team through initial deployments of models • Continuously monitors and refines models based on market needs • Executes technical aspects of Integrity Management and Risk Assessment projects • Reviews and analyzes risks, threats, and mitigations • Develops engineering solutions via data analysis techniques • Writes quality peer-reviewed reports • Stays current with pipeline regulations
Requirements
• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in a STEM field, preferable in Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics • 5 years risk or reliability engineering experience, or a research-based graduate degree with 1+ years risk or reliability engineering experience • Experience with advanced statistical and mathematical techniques, including probabilistic models • Hands-on programming knowledge; experience with Python and SQL is an asset • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed or designation in progress • Application of reliability engineering techniques to real-world scenarios • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and devise innovative solutions • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Exposure to API, ASME and Risk-based inspection-based maintenance programs is an asset • Prior work experience in the oil & gas, process or utility industry is an asset
