Description
• CFO appointment at a Class 4 reinsurance company • Leadership role in Finance function • Financial reporting and submissions to Bermuda Monetary Authority • Review of new Re/Insurance deals and transactions • Engagement with senior stakeholders for external financial reporting • Manage annual external audit and quarterly reviews • Support and partner with the CEO • Integral part of future business growth • Responsibilities in risk, marketing, and operations
Requirements
• ACA/CA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation • At least 10+ years’ experience in the reinsurance sector • Familiarity with Bermuda regulatory requirements • Strong knowledge of technical accounting and reporting issues • Proficiency with US GAAP • Strong financial acumen • Ability to lead and inspire team members • High degree of initiative and dependability • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Effective communication skills
