Description
• Oversee month-end close cycle for assigned corporate entities • Generate internal management reports • Contribute to reporting packages for senior leadership • Review working papers and approve journal entries • Liaise with Corporate Finance • Prepare documentation for external audits • Manage chart of accounts and general ledgers • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve reporting efficiency • Implement best practices for financial reporting • Work collaboratively with other finance and accounting team members • Mentor and train junior staff • Support ad-hoc requests and lead new workstreams
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent required • CPA designation or equivalent qualification in good standing • 2+ years of accounting experience in a similar role • Prior experience in Gaming, Media & Entertainment, or Financial Services (Bonus) • Comfortable working in a fast-paced tech environment (Bonus) • Tech savvy and seek to utilize technology for efficiencies (Bonus) • Resourceful and willing to 'roll up sleeves' to make things happen (Bonus) • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks), advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills (Bonus)
