🔄 Hybrid – Toronto
• Support leadership team with Limited Partner Fundraising activities including marketing, sales outreach, due diligence, pitch preparation, and regular LP communications • Proactively sourcing, managing and tracking current and future relationships within the FutureSight investor community and partner networks • Assist with special projects for our fund and portfolio companies, including establishing metrics, building financial models, reviewing partnership agreements, building founder development programs, identifying board members, experts and more
• 3-5+ years of business and sales operations, community building, platform or similar experience • Venture capital, startup or investment banking experience is preferred • Deep hunger for venture capital and startup success • Strong understanding of business • Knowledge of the technology/startup space • High willingness to learn • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation (both virtual and in person) • Detail-oriented with strong project management, organizational skills, and process management. • Comfort with joining and leading calls with external stakeholders • Outstanding judgment around confidential and/or sensitive information • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides • Excellent organizational and administrative skills • Excel at behind-the-scenes work • Great teammate with no ego who is self-motivating and takes initiative
