Description

• Manage SQL Server databases on AWS • Configure and maintain database servers and processes • Manage High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server • Monitor system's health and performance • Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security • Provide support for critical production systems • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities • Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time • Provide suggestions for solutions • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes • Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement • Create and maintain T-SQL Stored procedures • Develop and manage SSRS Reports • Other duties and projects as assigned by Management

Requirements

• 5 - 10 years of experience with MS SQL Server Administration experience is required • 5+ years of experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server • 5+ years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization • 5+ years of experience with backups, restores and recovery models • 5+ years of experience with complex queries • 5+ years of experience with T-SQL stored procedures • Previous experience with database encryption • 2+ years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) • Working knowledge of MySQL, Elastic Search, Visual Studio, Windows, and AWS is desired • Good knowledge of Snowflake, Power BI, and Looker is a plus • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills • Ability to adapt to rapid changing technology, priorities and business requirements • Team player • Good time-management skills • Great interpersonal and communication skills
