Description

• Support the review of supplier documentation, product formulations, and finished products to ensure they meet Cosmetic and Consumer Product regulatory requirements in all North American jurisdictions • Maintain databases, logs, trackers and communicate changes to the appropriate teams • Ensure compliance and accuracy of all product labels, in-store signs, gift artwork, and other print materials as needed, including any product claims, in accordance with Health Canada and FDA regulations • Prepare and distribute Quantitative Ingredient statements (QI’s) with the most current product information, coinciding with product setup, re-formulations, and regularly scheduled reviews • Regularly prepare and submit various reports and documents as needed (Government, Trade Associations) • Support the team and other departments in developing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining various components of the Quality Management Program, including Good Manufacturing Practices • Assist with Lush’s Non Animal Testing declaration reviews, to determine compliance with Lush’s internal policy. • Communicate with vendors and suppliers as required • Support the team with 3rd party and internal audits and investigations • Both independent and collaborative technical research and related projects

Requirements

• 1-2 yrs experience working with and applying relevant regulatory knowledge in the food, cosmetics, or natural health product manufacturing environment • Very good understanding and demonstrated application of ISO 22716 Good Manufacturing Practices • Strong attention to detail • Excellent oral and written communications • Self-motivated; works well individually and as a team player • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines • Positive “can-do” attitude • Organized and dependable
