• Own, develop, and iterate on policies and processes for a best-in-class employee experience. • Participate in recruiting activities and own recruiting for senior-level positions. • Build reporting and metrics to measure recruiting efficiency and effectiveness, as well as headcount efficiency of different teams and Clutch overall. • Use metrics to assist with workforce planning and compensation and total rewards review. • Oversee HRIS, benefits, and payroll administration. • Oversee and administer hourly and salary payroll with oversight and review from the Head of Finance. • Research statutory obligations and gold standard human resources policies to provide guidance to leadership and team. • When appropriate, conduct workplace investigations, handle grievances, arbitrations, and conduct discipline and performance management meetings. • Lead our semi-annual and annual review processes, using compensation data sets to help organization leaders benchmark and level roles within teams. • Plan the employee onboarding and offboarding experience. • Must be comfortable to work 100% on-site at our downtown HQ at 60 Adelaide Street East.
• 7+ years experience in people operations working in a fast-paced environment, preferably at a start-up • Thoughtful execution - you ask questions, do research, and take the time to build a strong foundation before diving into tactical steps • Exceptional organizational and project management skills - you are able to keep track of a variety of work streams and prioritize accordingly • Analytical thinker, you’re able to run reports and identify patterns through data, and present this data to senior management in a way that enables decision-making • Not afraid to roll up your sleeves, while keeping an eye out for opportunities to make an existing process more efficient or level up the way we do things to a higher standard • An eye for detail and a knack for fast but precise work • You are a positive, process oriented, relationship developing machine.
