Description
• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics and reporting • Develop data models and schemas that support data warehousing and business intelligence efforts • Collaborate with engineering and product to understand data needs and develop solutions for our customer’s analytics needs • Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability • Optimize and tune SQL queries for improved performance and scalability • Create dashboards, reports, API endpoints and visualizations to present data insights to stakeholders
Requirements
• 8+ years experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) • Experience with ETL/ELT tools and techniques (e.g., Fivetran, dbt, Airflow) • Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Sisense) • Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java) for scripting and automation • Experience with in-app analytics and embedding analytics is a plus • Experience with real-time data processing like Apache Spark is a plus • Experience with cloud-based data platforms like AWS is a plus • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
