Description
• Full Stack Engineer role based in Montreal • Collaborate with engineers, product designers, operation experts, and clinicians • Work on patient-facing features in the core product • Utilize technologies like Ruby, Rails, PostgreSQL, Serverless functions, Rudderstack, Amplitude, etc. • Design and implement experiments for patient acquisition and retention • Write secure, HIPAA-compliant software • Contribute to engineering culture and hiring
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience developing Web applications • Excellent programming skills • Knowledge of Ruby/Rails, Javascript, HTML/CSS • Ability to create prototypes quickly • Understanding of growth metrics and data-driven decision making • Experience shipping and maintaining Web applications in production • Eye for design and product decisions • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Entrepreneurial mindset • Degree in computer science, math, or similar fields is a plus • Understanding of the scientific method • Ability to wear multiple hats • Hacker mindset • Data-driven approach with curiosity • Knowledge of computer security and privacy protection • Understanding of Hotwire/Turbo/Stimulus • TDD approach
