Description
• Ensure the integrity of accounting information • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries • Maintain subsidiaries' general ledger • Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities • Evaluate workflow processes and procedures • Analyze financial data and generate trend reports • Participate in the external audit • Create financial models and ad hoc reporting • Develop and implement fixed asset tracking • Research technical and financial transactions • Monitor emerging technology • Play a key role in process and system implementation projects
Requirements
• Canadian CPA • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or a related discipline • 5+ years of experience in a similar level or role within accounting/finance • Experience with audit and financial reporting requirements • Experience in working with multiple legal entities • Experience with large, messy datasets that require time to reconcile
