Description
• Hands-on Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) • Work with geographically dispersed Dev & QA team in a dynamic, rapidly evolving, and high-pressure project setting • Contribute in a hands-on fashion on the project and take ownership of various QA deliverables • Passionate around automating and writing end-to-end testing • Create Test harness and infrastructure • Hands-on approach to implementing QA processes • Collaborate with developers, business, and multiple global stakeholders to drive QA agenda & standards • Communicate key issues and progress updates in a regular, accurate, timely fashion • Work closely with technical leaders to develop the best technical design for testing functionality at scale • Build software solutions where the problem is not well defined
Requirements
• 3-4 years of hands-on experience working on QA automation using Java • Experience in developing test automation for Web applications preferably using Cypress, Selenium, BDD Cucumber and Java • Experience in developing test automation within Agile projects • Experience in developing test automation for Backend applications preferably using rest assured. • Good knowledge about testing concepts and understanding of database concepts, OOPs concepts and strong in core Java skills. • Strong working knowledge of various test types including client/server, white-box, black-box, positive/negative, and relational database testing. • Solid test design skills, test case writing, automation and analysis. • Strong working knowledge of various test phases including functional, integration and regression • Ability to learn new things, architectural level details, innovative testing approach. • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional approach • Setting up/Use of Continuous Integration tools
