Description
• As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for developing our accounting and finance capabilities overall • This includes enhancing our financial systems, streamlining workflow procedures, and advancing our reporting capabilities • You will collaborate closely with our leadership and functional teams to provide critical financial insights that drive business growth
Requirements
• Proven track record of implementing accounting best practices in fast-paced environments • 6+ years of accounting experience, with 3+ years of full-cycle accounting ownership • CPA designation (Canadian or US) • Strong technical accounting skills, particularly in technology companies • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally • Self-starter who anticipates problems and proactively finds solutions • Experience with multi-currency, multi-entity accounting, and consolidations • Proficiency in implementing and optimizing financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct) • Familiarity with Canadian tax regulations and reporting requirements • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong team collaboration
