• Manage the full accounting cycle of a portfolio of properties, including preparing journal entries, monthly operating costs, and tax recovery estimates. • Review and analyze financial statements, balance sheets and recovery ratios to provide variance analysis. • Prepare final annual operating costs and tax recovery adjustments, including preparing CAM audit statements and assisting with property tax appeals. • Provide information for audit related queries and property appraisers and ensure that monthly reporting deadlines are met. • Support our Finance team in the completion of annual budget and special projects.
• Bachelor’s degree• 5-8 years of experience in Human Resources • 1-3 years minimum in a Supervisory/Management role within Human Resources • HRIS system experience • Experience with Professional Development Plans
• Active pursuit of the CPA designation • University degree or equivalent • Strong interest in the field of commercial real estate, accounting & finance • An assertive self-starter with the ability to work independently or under supervision • A collaborative worker and effective team player • Good judgment and decision-making skills • Resilience, passion and a commitment to deliver and be accountable for the results • Analytical and critical thinker • Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word • Bilingual (French and English) would be an asset
