Description

• Create high level block diagrams and documentation • Create projects on Xilinx devices (primarily) and Microsemi devices (occasionally) • Develop and document RTL code to implement designs, coding in IP Integrator, HLS, SystemVerilog and VHDL. • Create detailed test benches and perform verification including detailed timing analysis • Create detailed test plans for both simulation and hardware integration • Assist with the design and verification of digital schematics incorporating FPGA devices. • Test and troubleshoot engineering prototypes in a lab environment

Requirements

• Engineering degree focused on digital electronics/communications • Minimum 5 years of FPGA or ASIC design • Experience in VHDL and SystemVerilog • Experienced with ModelSim, Questa, Xilinx Vivado • Experience with ML and AI techniques on FPGA is highly desirable • Experience with SDR architectures is highly desirable • Experience with SoC architectures is highly desirable • Experience with Xilinx Vitis and Vitis AI is desirable • Experience with HLS, OpenCL or OpenCPI is very desirable • Experience implementing DSP algorithms is very desirable • Experience with PCIe is desirable • Experience with Xilinx Integrate Logic Analyzer (ILA)/Chipscope • Experience with JESD204C data converter integration • Some experience with software and scripting (C++, Tcl, Make, Python) is desirable • Strong English communication and writing skills are essential • Must be able to obtain a minimum Secret Level II Security Clearance
